The e-PYTHEAS project ((exo-PlanetarY high-Temperature Hydrocarbons by Emission and Absorption Spectroscopy)), funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR]) aims at enhancing our understanding of the radiative properties of hot gaseous media to allow for improved analysis and interpretation of the large mass of data available on the thousands of exoplanets and exoplanetary systems known to date.
The "Molecular Spectroscopy, Collisional Processes and Applications" research group, from the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire Carnot de Bourgogne located in Dijon and member of OSU THETA, is a participant of the project.
